Description

This 250 year old Glass Tazza, dating from the late 18th century, c.1790, the Georgian period, serves to remind us of craftsmanship and the importance of decorative items for the dinner table. The piece is of blown clear glass, with a hollow stem and foot and hand-applied enamelled glass detail, quite distinctive of pieces from this period, surmounted with a circular shallow dish. Its well-preserved condition, with minimal damage showcases the durability and timeless style of Georgian glassware. It would be perfect to display fruit, desserts, or simply stand as a decorative antique item
